Tommie Gorman; worked for RTE News and Current Affairs from 1980 to 2021 including European editor and Northern Ireland editor. Living with a rare form of cancer, neuro-endochrine tumours (NETs) since 1994 and seeking ways to access life-saving treatments for patients, he “still has a dodgy liver, peppered with tumours”. From all submitted abstracts in the category ‘Early Stage Health Researcher’ up to 15 research projects are invited for oral presentation at the 2nd Early Stage Health Researcher Forum.

The 2nd Early Stage Health Researcher Forum provides motivation and opportunity to local early stage health researchers, both medical and academic to present their work-in-progress health-related research with the aim of stimulating ideas and gaining experience in presenting research while receiving valuable feedback from an expert panel.

Poster Exhibition

Each year posters at the Annual Multidisciplinary Health Research Conference and Early Stage Health Researcher Forum provide some of the most informative moments for attendees. The Poster Exhibition is the week before and after the events at display. This allows for SUH employees to view in their own time.

Displaying a poster is an excellent opportunity to highlight the work you and your organisation/ department are doing to improve health care for all.
