Health Research Seed Grant Scheme

The Research & Education Foundation makes available annual health research seed grants to facilitate small-scale & pilot research projects in any health care discipline. The grants are open to any health care professions, academic disciplines or other relevant background in the SUH catchment area. Projects must involve SUH and project/ principal applicant must have some affiliation with the SUH.

The Foundation is pleased to announce the Research Seed Grant Scheme 2023. This year a total of €7,000 will be made available under this scheme, up to a maximum of €2,500 for each grant.

Please read the guidance notes before completing the application form. An independent committee will review applications and notification will take place mid-November with the official announcements made at the 24th Annual Multidisciplinary Research Conference on Friday, November 10th 2023.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, October 16th 2023.
